I am not sure if my subject made any sense, but many controls these days support scrolling by pressing the mouse wheel button. Once pressed the cursor changes to indicate the directions in which scrolling is supported. For instance if a control has no horizontal scroll bar then the cursor shows up and down arrows. If the control has both vertical and horizontal scroll bars the cursor shows 4 arrows.

Does this feature already exist in the memo? If not, I'd like to see it added and can add a Mantis issue if it's not there already. A search for "scroll" in Mantis and the forum revealed nothing.
