This is not the right place for this and I apologize, but...
I can.t build the editor becase:
When I try to load SyntEdit10c the project file is bad and won't load. So when I try to build SyntEditDB10c I get 'Syntedit10c.bpi missing". It then compiles everything and comes up with 'Unable to open DB.OBJ".
The designer built and installed BUT, when I try to link to the designer from my project I get a VCLEDITORS.OBJ missing. I looked for this in the Borland directory and found the source but I can't get it to build. Is there a project file somewhere or can you please send me the binaries.
Please Note: I am using CBuilder 2006 Enterprize.
Thanks,
Jesse |

Project files are normal, but as we see C++Builder IDE works differently on different PC.

This problem occurs only for building without runtime packages.
You need to compile any demo project with pascal units. Object files for files will be created for units in ToolsAPi, Property, No_Bpl folders. They are not used when building package and therefore object files are not created during installation. They can not be included in distributive due to these files are part of C++Builder.
In Delphi 2006 this problem is not present because these units are compiled automatically when used.
