This may not be an EControl issue per se, but I figure that I would throw it out here on the forum in case anyone else has seen it or has suggestions.
One of our users sees "Cannot open clipboard" from time to time. We haven't been able to locate the cause yet, but the line of code that fails is Clipboard.SetAsHandle(CF_UNICODETEXT, Data); in procedure SetClipboardText. We are on version 2.28 of the source, but I see that the routine has not changed in version 2.32. We are using Delphi 7. The user has a Dutch language setting in Windows. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, I hear about such problem, but all my attemps to reproduce it were unsuccessful.
If anyone has ideas about the problem and how to fix it, I shall appreciate any help.

I see this couple of times. After i get this error, all work with clipboard show such error, till i restart app. Strange that i often get this error when work thru RDP on server. On local computer i working more, but have this error only once or two.
May be this will help - i use PuntoSwitcher. Programm based on SyntaxEditor runs on local computer and on server too at same time.
Let's get some statistcs here =) |
